This $40 Card Tracker Makes AirTags Look Outdated

AirTags are starting to look pretty stupid compared to something like this.

This is the AirCard Pro, and for $40, it might honestly be one of the best trackers I have ever used. It is thinner than an AirTag, fits better in more places, and somehow manages to pack in more useful features at the same time.

At a glance, it already solves one of the biggest AirTag problems. It is shaped like a card.

A Card-Style Tracker That Actually Makes Sense

Instead of being a chunky puck you have to clip or stick somewhere, this tracker slides straight into a wallet like a credit card with just 2.2mm thick, which makes a huge difference in real-world use.

You can toss it in a bag, slide it into a wallet, or hide it in places where an AirTag would either bulge out or be annoying to deal with.

This alone makes it more practical for everyday carry.

It Is Also a Digital Business Card

This tracker does more than just help you find lost items. On the front, there is a QR code. Scan it, and it pulls up your digital ID. You can use it as a digital business card with your contact info, links, or social profiles.

If you ever lose it, that same QR code can help someone return it to you without giving away your personal details.

Details You Did Not Know You Wanted

There are glow-in-the-dark lines on the front of the card.

It is not a must-have feature, but it does make the tracker easier to spot in the dark. More importantly, it shows that some actual thought went into the design instead of just slapping a logo on a plastic card.

Works With iPhone and Android

Compatibility is another area where this card really stands out.

It works with Apple Find My, so it shows up right alongside your AirTags on an iPhone. At the same time, it also works with Find Hub on Android, which means you are not locked into a single ecosystem.

That alone makes it more flexible than most trackers out there.

Wireless Charging and a Full Year of Battery Life

My favorite feature here is the charging. Instead of tossing the tracker when the battery dies, this one is fully rechargeable using wireless charging. Just place it on a wirless charger and you are good to go.

Battery life is rated at up to 12 months on a single charge, so you are not constantly thinking about it. And when it finally runs out, you recharge it instead of replacing it.

Thin, wallet-friendly, rechargeable, works on both iPhone and Android, and costs $40. Yeah, AirTags are starting to feel a little outdated.

Final Thoughts

This feels like the natural evolution of a tracker. Slimmer, smarter, and way easier to live with than a puck you have to attach to everything. If Apple ever releases a card-style AirTag with wireless charging, they are going to have some catching up to do.

Until then, the AirCard Pro makes a very strong case for ditching traditional AirTags.
